The stomach flu finally hit me like a ton of bricks. Spring illnesses are always the worst, I tell ya. I took a nap on Sunday and I woke up with a pounding headache and watery stomach. I thought maybe it was just the nap that made me feel ill. Squeak and I had a great little day indoors, we even ventured outside and cooked s’mores on the grill. I had zero indication I was going to be severely ill later that day.

I cooked up dinner (gagging) and read some books to Squeak for World Book Day #LovetoRead. She’s really into the Llama, Llama… books by Anna Dewdney. I love them because they’re short so you can read a few of them before bed, and you can make them interactive (Llama, Llama clap, clap, clap!). Luckily, I’m starting to feel a little better tonight. I can’t handle sitting around and doing nothing, so this forced me to catch up on sleep and also fold laundry. My one tip for the stomach flu? Sprite or ginger ale. Works wonders when you can’t hold anything down :(
